GLOBAL HD VMD DAY New Medium Enterprises would like to extend a warm thank you to all our guests who attended “Global HD VMD Day” on Jan 22nd at VDL-ODMS. The event was a resounding success, as over 100 guests from around the globe converged on Eindhoven to see the world’s first Multilayer Optical Disc and replication line. In attendance were industry representatives from Phillips, DaTarius, Netsal, Planet Optical Disc and Scanavo… to name only a few, as well as industry press from Screen Digest, DVD Intelligence, Replix, One to One, ODS! and PC Magazine. The event was a marked celebration of the company’s most recent milestone, namely, the unveiling of the world’s first HD VMD replication line. The HD VMD line delivers high performance multi-layer optical media replication, and promises to revolutionize the High Definition global marketplace. The overall feedback has been amazing and the consensus couldn’t be more clear- a new technology like HD VMD is indeed an exciting development for the industry. A very special thank you to our all of our partners for their ongoing support, in particular, our co-hosts VDL-ODMS, whose contribution and expertise helped to make this day a reality.
